James Reid is not the one to say no to adrenaline-pumping activities.
Each time he travels abroad, the 24-year-old Kapamilya star has practically done some of the most extreme activities in the world.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press had a quick chat with the VIVA talent at the launch of his latest endorsement for Mountain Dew last April 13, Friday, at 55 Events Place in Quezon City.
When asked about the craziest thing he has done so far, James said it was his sky-diving experience in Dubai in April 2016.
James recalled, "It's always been my dream.
"You know there’s a fear of heights, right? But I have the opposite, I like being in high places, the adrenaline. I love heights."
"It was in Dubai, over the Palm Tree Island."
He added, "It's definitely the most exhilarating thing that I've done."
Extreme sports aside, what's the scariest thing he's done in his whole life?
The Miss Granny actor replied, "That would be when I joined PBB. I was so shy, scared of the limelight."
In 2010, he was hailed the big winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010.
His other answer had something to do with love life and girlfriend Nadine Lustre.
"...When I told Nadine I love her in the concert. The air was electric and I can't describe it. It was really intense."
But as far as traveling or doing extreme activities, James said he still has a lot to check off his bucket list.
He said, "I want to learn how to sky dive by myself. I wanna see more of Asia like India, Tibet, and Cambodia. Like the more exotic countries, and not the touristy attractions."
On why he prefers to vist the less-traveled places, James explained, "It's just I wanna get away from typical tourist places.
"Also, I'm really interested in Eastern religion, like Hinduism and Buddhism. I'd like to see all the temples. I try to. I don't go there to take pictures.
"Of course, you take pictures for the memories. But I try to go where the locals would go."
Is there anything he's scared of?
James answered, "Anything to do with deep water like scuba diving, swimming with sharks. That kind of deep water scares me."
