Celebrities find peace and relaxation at these popular resorts and beach islands.

Every now and then, celebrities find time to take a break from their busy schedules.

For a guaranteed relaxing vacation away from the city, some celebrities already have their favorite resorts and beach islands in mind for their quick escape.

Apart from Boracay, which is currently undergoing a much-needed environmental makeover, here are other equally pristine travel destinations that celebrities love to head off to:

Balesin Island Club

A celebrity-favorite for weddings and vacations, this private, members-only island resort is located at the eastern coast of Luzon.

Heart Evangelista is one of the exclusive club's frequent celebrity guests. Even though the GMA-7 star is scared of flying, she braves the 25-minute plane ride just to unwind at the picturesque seaside villas of Balesin.

With Boracay taking a breather, it was the islands of Siargao that filled in the void.

In recent months, beach-loving locals and celebrities raved about Siargao—so much so that director Paul Soriano wrote a love letter to the island through his Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 entry, Siargao.
