Frankie Pangilinan, daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis Pangilinan, celebrated her 18th birthday with family and close friends on Saturday night, December 15.

Her actual birthday is today, December 16.

In an Instagram post, Sharon shared her birthday wish for her second daughter.

She wrote, "Happy 18th Birthday again to one of my very best friends in the whole wide world, a lady with a pure heart, who loves God and has helped a couple of her friends to become closer to Him; my easiest baby when she was an infant then a toddler.

"She was so well-behaved you could’ve forgotten that there was a baby in our home! I love you so much my Baba. Again, thank you for your heart, your kindness and your love.

"I cannot express just how proud I am of you! May God give you all that your heart desires."

THE HIGHLIGHTS

In another post, Sharon shared the highlights of her daughter's party.

"Her party was very personal and so non-showbiz.

"The only stars present were Ara Mina, Sunshine Cruz and her beautiful girls, and Leila Alcasid.

"There were no professional singers who performed. We had my long-time Musical Director Mel Villena and his AMP band who played such beautiful standard songs (Told you - Frankie’s an old soul! Like me, she was born a 'manang.')

"Kiko and I sang 'The Way You Look Tonight' to her and the rest of the singing, Frankie did (after removing her big 'rose' gown attachment and turned it into a sleek gown which showed off her beautiful long legs!).

"Beautiful affair. I had to leave them all behind as I am still not feeling all well.

"They’re still partying downstairs with Daddy making bantay (hahaha) and I’m already in my pajamas.

"I came down late cos I was the last one to be made up and I didn’t want to rush and add to my stress and cause myself a relapse.

"I missed the cocktails but what was heartwarming to me was that I was escorted inside the Shangri-la BGC ballroom by Joshua and Bimby.

"My beej Kris isn’t feeling well either so we missed her, but I was so happy the boys came. @krisaquino"
