Celebrities extend holiday break in winter wonderland

RnB singer Kyla and her family had a great time at their mountain cabin in snow-capped Finland, while couple Kim Chiu and Xian Lim snuggle up with a pair of snow dogs in China.


A number of celebrity couples and families extended their holiday season break to the first week of 2019.

While some stars rang in the new year by the seaside, others chose to welcome it with snow.

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim filled us with wanderlust when they flew to Mainland, China for their late holiday break.

The ABS-CBN actress spent Christmas promoting her film One Great Love, which was among the official entries for Metro Manila Film Festival 2018.

After the festivities, she and Xian explored the snowy attractions of China.

Another celebrity couple who had a snowy holiday break were Karylle and Yael Yuzon.

Including Biwako Valley ski resort to their Japan itinerary, Karylle finally experienced her "1st winter wonderland."

Meanwhile, Liz Uy and Bea Soriano were both spotted in Niseko, Japan—celebrities' favorite place-to-be.

Though they arrived at the popular ski resort separately, they managed to have a quick photo op.

Gabbi Garcia and her family picked the snowy Hokkaido.

Over in Europe, RnB singer Kyla, husband Rich Alvarez, and son Toby are still in the middle of their holiday break.

On January 1, they kicked off their European tour in Brussels, Belgium.

After a few days, the Alvarez family went to Germany, where they got to play in the snow.

Things got more exciting when they reached Finland, the current location of their latest Instagram posts.

Kyla, Rich, and Toby got to ride a snowmobile and do some dog sledding.

The family is staying in a modern-looking mountain cabin with a ceiling to floor glass window that overlooks the snow-capped forest.
