Daniel Padilla-Kathryn Bernardo starrer Pagpag grosses P100 million

According to Star Cinema, the MMFF 2013 entry Pagpag, Siyam na Buhay is now the "biggest movie of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla."


Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo end 2013 on a high note as their horror film Pagpag, Siyam na Buhay, surpassed P100 million in the box-office.

The tandem popularly known as Kathniel star in the lone horror movie included in the lineup of the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival.

In a text message sent to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Mico del Rosario of Star Cinema revealed that the MMFF 2013 entry Pagpag reached the P100 million mark last night, December 30.

The said SMS message also indicated that Pagpag is now the "biggest movie of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla."

This co-production of Star Cinema and Regal Films is directed by Frasco Mortiz.

In her Twitter account, lead actress Kathryn posted this as a caption for a photo indicating the box-office figure of Pagpag: "What a great way to end my year. Congratulations team Pagpag. We did it! #HappyNewYear #blessed"






Meanwhile, another Star Cinema co-production with Viva Films, Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy, has already breached the P200 million mark in the box-office.
