Set in present day Metro Manila, Nilalang is a supernatural suspense horror-thriller. An NBI agent named Tony investigates a series of unusual murders and rape cases, culminating in the death of his girlfriend. Spurred on by the events, Tony and his partner Jane follow the investigation that leads all the way to Japan, the beautiful Miyuki, the Yakuza, and a world different from the one he knows.

In this movie, former porn star Maria Ozawa is cast as the sultry daughter of a Yakuza, while Cesar Montano plays an NBI agent out to seek the truth.

Known by its international title, The Entity, this movie is topbilled by Japanese former adult video star Maria Ozawa and action star Cesar Montano. Yam Concepcion, Cholo Barretto, Kiko Matos, Dido de La Paz, Aubrey Miles, and Meg Imperial round up the Filipino cast.
