Angel Locsin speaks up regarding the men in her life

GMA-7's upcoming series Asian Treasures features a new love team between Angel Locsin and Robin Padilla. The action star has the reputation of getting close to his leading ladies but Angel wants to clarify the issue right away.

In a Startalk interview last November 4, Angel said: "Ine-expect ko na yan. Bigyan natin ng respeto si Kuya Binoe. Wag na natin pagbintangan na halos lahat nililigawan niya. Basta sa akin lang, sobrang gentleman niya. Maasikaso, mabait."

She also pointed out that her current boyfriend, Oyo Sotto, trusts her enough when it comes to matters like these. Minsan nagbibiro. Si Kuya Binoe may respeto naman."

Robin admits that he admires Angel Locsin. He has nothing but respect for Oyo and the whole Sotto family. He then addresses Oyo and says: "Kapatid na Oyo, ang iyong ama at iyong pamilya ay aking ginagalang. Wala kang dapat ipag-alala. Kahit anong oras pwede kang pumunta sa aming taping. Kahit dito sa ensayo, pwede kang pumunta. Ikaw ay tinuturing kong nakababatang kapatid."

Incidentally, Robin Padilla is the fight choreographer of the Asian Treasures. Kelangan tayong sumabay sa daloy ng paggawa ng action," notes Robin, during the same interview on Startalk.

Wag nating tawaging dobol, ang gusto niya stunt in. Ayaw niya."

The action star even gives advice for Angel: "Sa iyong edad, mainam ang umibig.

First love never dies

The saying "First love never dies" seems to fit Angel Locsin and Miko Sotto very well, indeed. Three years after the death of Angel's first boyfriend, Miko Sotto, she still remains devoted to his memory.

When the topic of Miko Sotto came up, Oyo narrates that the Sotto family all went together at the grave of the late young actor. According to Oyo, Angel came in around 12 midnight. Angel said that she does not want her pictures taken while visiting the grave of her late boyfriend.

Angel recounts: "Pumunta ako dun para magdasal kami. Tapos pag-uusapan namin yung mga memories. Tapos bonding na rin. Siguro magso-sorry na din ako. Yung iba tinatawagan ako for interview. Siyempre, nahihiya ako dahil hindi ako pamilya talaga."

With her hectic schedule, Angel hardly finds time to see Miko Sotto's mother, Ali Sotto. "Kakarating lang niya galing [sa United] States. Tapos tinawagan ko na lang siya."

Oyo points out that Miko continues to be one of the pillars of his relationship with Angel.
