"I'm happier now because we have been able to fix the problem within the family. As I've said before, the family is more important than politics," says Lipa City Mayor Vilma Santos about reconciling with her brother-in-law.

This is not about the family, this is about who can serve the province better. I'll just pray for him [Ricky]. I don't think any of them [other Recto family members] are in public office in Batangas. I don't think they know the sentiments of the people of Batangas."

But all's well that ends well dahil balita ngang nagkaayos na ang pamilya.

"I'm happier now because we have been able to fix the problem within the family. As I've said before, the family is more important than politics," sabi ni Mayor Vi.

"I texted him [Ricky], ‘I love you.' I told him that I thank him for defending me against those who belittle my skills," kuwento ng multi-awarded actress and mayor.

"There's nothing definite yet. Ricky also asked for one week before he makes his decision. So, let's just wait for him," sabi pa ni Ate Vi.

"She has her own legacy," sabi ng asawa ni Mayor Vi, "people knew her even before they heard of me. I have to respect that and I am very proud of my wife."
