All is set for the Final Judgment Night of StarStruck The Next Level.
Gaganapin ang Final Judgment Night of the fourth edition of StarStruck sa Marikina Sports Park this Sunday, March 25. Last year, dito rin ginanap ang Final Judgment ng third edition ng StarStruck kung saan nag-double win si Marky Cielo as Ultimate Male Survivor and also the first ever Sole Ultimate Survivor while Jackie Rice was adjudged Ultimate Female Survivor. Ang first two final judgment nights were held at the Araneta Coliseum.
Anim na Survivors ngayon ang natitira unlike the first three edition na apat. The Final 6 are composed of Aljur Abrenica of Pampanga, Mart Escudero of Cavite, Prince Stefan of Iloilo, Rich Asuncion of Bohol, Kris Bernal of Quezon City, and Jewel Mische of Bulacan. Apat kasi ang paglalabanang slots: Ultimate Pair, Ultimate Sweetheart, at Ultimate Hunk.
All four winners will win one million pesos cash prize, two million pesos management contract, and an array of attractive side prizes including a business package. The non-survivors will be crowned First Prince and First Princess naman.
While equal footing ang anim, kung pagbabasehan ang results of the first three StarStruck edition, parang may tradition na sinusundan ang mga winners.
All male winners of StarStruck from year one to three have names starting with the letter M. First year winner si Mark Herras, second year si Mike Tan, at third si Marky.
J and R naman ang lucky first name letters sa babaeng winners. Sa unang taon, it was Jennylyn Mercado. Sinundan siya ni Ryza Cenon. Last year nga it's back to J, si Jackie.
Mart's name starts will letter M at R naman ang kay Rich.
Kaso, pareho namang wild cards sina Mart and Rich. When the wild card was introduced on the second year of StarStruck, instead of Kirby de Jesus, nakalusot si CJ Muere. CJ also reached the Final Four of Year 2 ngunit naging First Prince lang din siya kay Mike.
So either Ultimate Winners sina Mart and Rich or sila ang tatanghaling first Prince and Princess.
May tulog din si Jewel Mische na na-vote out ng halos lahat ng Avengers in its last regular Sunday telecast. Last year, mas pinaboran si Jackie over Iwa Moto ng mga Avengers dahil nagka-away-away noon ang mga Survivors because of the infamous computer scam. Two years ago, mas pinaboran din ng Avengers si Mike over CJ dahil sa alleged text vote brigade na ginawa ng pamilya ni CJ. In its first year, napaboran din si Mark ng mga kasamahan niya over Rainier Castillo nang naging underdog ito as Rainier then was undoubtedly the more popular of the two.
Those who got the votes of the Avengers na sina Mark, Mike, and Jackie won the title. Those na hindi ibinoto ng Avengers—sina Rainier, CJ and Iwa— ay naging runners-up lang.
Hindi rin sigurado si Aljur na favorite to win from day one. During its first year, si Rainier ang favored to win sa lalaki at sinusundan siya ni Dion Ignacio. In its second year, lumalaban sa pinakamalalakas sina Chris Martin and Kirby among the boys at si Megan Young ang tinatayang mananalo sa girls.
Last year, Iwa was voted as the girl most likely to win from the start at sa lalaki naman, si Vivo Ouano. Nag-First Prince lang si Rainier at natanggal sa Final Four si Dion. Natanggal agad si Chris during the early elimination at naligwak din sa final four sina Kirby and Megan. Last year, maagang natanggal si Vivo at nag-First Princess lang si Iwa kay Jackie.
Ang kasama ni Aljur na mostly likely to win this year, si Stef Prescott, ay nalaglag sa Final 6.
So far, the only frontrunner na nagwagi in the end, si Mike of Year 2 na simula pa lang, na-predict na mananalo ultimately.
Tanging sina Kris and Prince lang yata ang walang precedent, so kahit paano ay may laban. Although last year, the representative of Iloilo, si Gian Carlos, came second to Marky. Prince is also from Iloilo.
Seven p.m. magsisimula ang Final Judgment at ipapalabas ito on the same night sa slot ng Sunday Night Box Office.
