Rumor has it that Ginebra player Rudy Hatfield spread the word that he will expose scandalous photos of former girlfriend Rufa Mae Quinto. Aside from that, he will also throw in an e-mail containing content that would surprise even Rufa Mae.
"I don't care about him. Nakakahiya naman kasi sa present boyfriend ko [Erik Santos]," said Rufa Mae in an interview with The Buzz.
The Buzz's host Ruffa Gutierrez explains the origin of this controversy: "Si Rudy Hatfield kasi, may in-e-mail kay Rufa Mae. Na 'walang hiya ka, drama queen,' and all these nasty words. Kaya ko nalaman kasi tumawag sa akin si Peachy [Rufa Mae's nickname] ng madaling-araw. Sabi niya, ‘Mare, si Rudy nag-e-mail sa akin wala akong naintindihan, grabe ang English!'"
Rufa Mae mentioned details about Rudy getting married with his present girlfriend. There should be no reason, according to Rufa Mae, for Rudy to continue interfering with her personal life.
"I heard that they're getting married, and I don't really care about him [or them]," said Rufa Mae.
Erik, meanwhile, remains mum about this whole issue concerning his girlfriend. Rufa Mae, however, gives out a final message to Rudy: "Respect na lang. Kahit wala nang respect, just be civil to me na lang."
The Buzz tried to get Rudy's side of the story, but according to a reliable source, last Friday, April 6, Rudy was reportedly have flown back to the US to prepare for his wedding. The source also said that Rudy will not come back to play for Ginebra in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
