Young actor Geoff Eigenmann was amused about a news item that Nikki Gil rejected his love proposal.
"Paano akong mababasted, e, hindi naman ako nanliligaw? I've always been vocal naman about how I felt for her na kaya... Ever since I saw her, I got attracted to her," said a smiling Geoff at the press junket for Hiram na Mukha last April 13 at ABS-CBN's 9501 restaurant.
Geoff also said their "intimate relationship" might be also attributed to the fact that they are being groomed as a loveteam. "We are a new loveteam now, e. Sa Rounin [ABS-CBN's new sci-fi series] kami ang magka-partner. We are both comfortable naman with each other."'
Although Geoff denied that he is courting Nikki, the young actor admitted he was giving the latter hints about his interest. "I'm there, pero I mean, yung seryosong panliligaw, she doesn't want it right now."
Did Nikki tell that to him?
"We talk about it. We are vocal naman with each other. If it will happen, then it's gonna happen. We're not in a rush naman, e. If it's gonna be naman, we'll just have wait for it to happen," said Geoff.
The young actor already introduced Nikki to his family. "She met my family and I also already met her family. Tapos na lahat ng mga..." Geoff trailed off to which one fellow writer interjected with "formality na lang ang kailangan."
Geoff agreed to this. He said, "Well, yeah, we can put it that way. We're just taking it easy. Marami na rin kasing nangyayari sa amin. Busy na rin kami."
Are they exclusively dating?
"Hindi rin. She can go out with anyone. I can go out with anyone I want," said Geoff in closing.
Hiram Na Mukha will air on April 23. Also included in the cast are Heart Evangelista, TJ Trinidad, Cherry Pie Picache, Katya Santos, among others. This is under the direction of Erick Salud and Trina Dayrit. The Sine Serye is based on a movie of the same title directed by Joel Lamangan that starred Nanette Medved, Christopher de Leon, and Cesar Montano.
