As far as Rochelle Pangilinan is concerned, she will have nothing to do with her ex-boyfriend, Yexel Sebastian, who himself recently broke up with young actress Iwa Moto.
"Buhay niya ‘yan. Ayoko na siyang pakialaman as far as that is concerned dahil matagal na naman kaming wala. Kung nagkakalabuan man sila ngayon [ni Iwa], e, bakit ako dapat sumali?" says the SexBomb Girl in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), at the press conference of Daisy Siete's Season 15 offering, "Isla Chikita," last April 23.
Are she and Yexel still friends?
"Hindi na, hindi na kami friends," she replies. "After nung sa amin, talagang natapos na ang lahat-lahat. Kahit communication, wala na kami para sa isa't isa."
Did she become bitter after their six-year relationship ended?
"Call me better na naging bitter. Although it took sometime para maka-move on ako, nagawa ko naman," says Rochelle.
Is this the reason why people think that almost all the leading men she comes across with in Daisy Siete fall into the tender trap of her loving arms?
"Hindi naman. Mga four out of five lang!" she laughs. "No, hindi naman totoo ‘yan. Marami lang ang nagta-try, pero kung hindi ko naman type, e, hindi naman ako papatol. Hindi naman ako tirador ng mga leading men ko. Kayo talaga! Dahil ‘pag ayoko naman at hindi ko feel, ako na mismo ang nagwu-walkout."
Although Rochelle keeps saying that she is loveless and no one special inspires her these days, people around her don't believe it. Rumor has it that she is just keeping mum about the identity of her current boyfriend.
"Ano ba, hindi totoo ‘yan. Wala naman siyang name. Friendship lang ang sa amin at hindi naman siya showbiz," Rochelle insists.
