PDA graduate RJ Jimenez stages his first solo concert

RJ Jimenez, who popularized the hit song "Miss Kita Pag Tuesday," will have his solo concert on May 31 at Promenade, Greenhills. He will have the distinction of being the first Pinoy Dream Academy scholar to stage a solo concert.

Ang na-link noon kay Yeng na si RJ Jimenez will have the distinction of being the first PDA scholar to have his first solo concert.

Titled Project: RJ.JMNZ, produced by Mediatrix Talent Casting Studio, this will be held on May 31 sa Teatrino sa Promenade, Greenhills. The creative director of the concert is Giovanni Respall while musical director naman si Rannie Raymundo. RJ is given his own backup band—sina Mark Razon (lead guitar), Raymond Federigan (bass), Ced Casulla (keyboards), Mic Manzanarez (drums), and and JB (percussions).

Though not part of the Top 6 scholars of PDA, RJ is certainly one of the most talented dahil tulad ni Yeng, the Grand Star Dreamer, he writes his own songs too. Two of his songs were just as popular as Yeng's "Hawak Kamay"—ang "Miss Kita Pag Tuesday" at ang theme song ng Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv na "It's All About Your Love."
