Piolo Pascual: "Judy Ann is a big part of my success."

"As far as I'm concerned, we're completely fine and I respect their decision not to invite me. I have nothing against that," says Piolo Pascual about the anniversary concert of Judy Ann Santos, where he was not invited.

A few hours before former loveteam Judy Ann Santos celebrated her showbiz anniversary with a concert at the Araneta Coliseum last night, June 16, heartthrob Piolo Pascual was at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City for a product launch.

As expected, Piolo wasn't able to escape being asked about his thoughts regarding Judy Ann and the concert later that evening, as well as the buzz that Ryan Agoncillo will finally pop the question to Juday during the concert.

"I'm happy for her," Piolo earnestly answered.

The good actor added that he only has respect for Juday and recognizes that the event was mainly prepared to celebrate Juday, therefore people shouldn't shift their attention on him or to anyone else.

It can be recalled that many were surprised when Judy Ann announced that Piolo wasn't included in her guest list—aggravating even more the rumor that there's a worsening gap between Piolo and Juday.

"Judy Ann is a big part of my success," acknowledged Piolo. "That's why I'll always have that deep respect for her. As far as I'm concerned, we're completely fine and I respect their decision not to invite me. I have nothing against that."

Piolo also hopes to resolve his conflict with Judy Ann's boyfriend, Ryan.

The rift between the two started when Ryan issued an email statement chastening Piolo for allegedly meddling in his relationship with Judy Ann and for talking about his girlfriend outside the context of their onscreen partnership.

There were even talks that it was Ryan who barred Piolo's inclusion on Juday's guest list. A notion that Judy Ann quickly waved off when confronted last week by some members of the press.

"In time, I'm sure maaayos din lahat. If ever there'll be a chance I want it to be very private... anywhere and anytime," said Piolo in closing.
