PNP to pull out Ruffa Gutierrez's police escorts after one month

Ruffa Gutierrez and children won't be having their police escorts for long as PNP decided to withdraw their three personnel after Yilmaz assured the public that he won't do anything drastic against Ruffa and their kids.

In an announcement aired just minutes ago by Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Oscar Calderon, he said that the three police escorts deployed to Ruffa and her two daughters, Lorin and Venice, were only temporary and that the controversial actress was already aware of the said arrangement.

PNP's decision to withdraw the security personnel was prompted by the recent statement released by Ruffa's ex-husband, Yilmaz Bektas, saying that he won't carry out any of the supposed grave threats he had sent to his estranged wife.

The PNP last week granted Ruffa's written request for security after she allegedly continued to receive malicious text messages from Yilmaz, who threatened to physically hurt her and their children.
