Daniel Padilla promised to give his unwavering support to girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo after her special birthday peformance on ASAP earlier today, March 17.
Kathryn, who will turn 23 on March 26, was given a pre-birthday celebration by the weekly ABS-CBN variety show.
Daniel personally gave his birthday message to the young actress, saying, "Ito lang ang gusto ko sabihin sa iyo, Bal. Ako ay laging nandito para sa iyo—para sumuporta, para promotekta, at mag-alaga, at pasayahin ka.
"I love you very much, Bal ko."
"Bal" is the couple's term of endearment for each other.
This was Daniel and Kathryn's first major appearance together after rumors surfaced that their relationship seemed to be on the rocks.
Back in February, Kathryn reportedly unfollowed and blocked Daniel on Instagram.
But the actress clarified that it was accidental.
She then told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Sinabi ko na walang dapat ipag-alala. Sobrang okay kami.
"May mga iba akong artista na naka-block talaga accidentally, nagugulat sila.
"Hindi ko talaga yun sinasadya. Wala, kini-clear ko talaga na wala."
Daniel and Kathryn's ASAP appearance also happened on the heels of the announcement of Kathryn's film with GMA-7 actor Alden Richards.
Kathryn will be celebrating her birthday with friends and family in an undisclosed beach this March 26.
