Rica Peralejo accepts criticisims about her morning show

"These are birth pains. We're going through a stage wherein we know our strengths and weaknesses. As far as I'm concerned, our group is a very good group. Kumbaga, it has a lot of potential," explains Rica Peralejo about the negative criticisms that their morning show is getting.

Ayon kay Rica, "Personally, for me, I really accept it as helpful and constructive criticisms. Gaya nga ng sinasabi ko sa lahat, I'm not affected with those feedbacks because I know na hindi ako magaling, hindi ako perfect, but I have potential. I have a big potential and my best is yet to come. It's not that I can perfect it na tomorrow, ang galing ko na.

"These are birth pains," paliwanag niya. "We're going through a stage wherein we know our strengths and weaknesses. As far as I'm concerned, our group is a very good group. Kumbaga, it has a lot of potential.

"Kunwari, let's say sa Unang Hirit [rival program on GMA-7], I think it took years before they were able to establish that. Kami, we can't do it overnight because we all have our weaknesses and we're still adjusting, and we're still learning. Ang maganda lang, mababait lahat ng kasama ko, walang hitad and we're all willing to learn."

With all her interviews, very happy and proud si Rica sa pagkukuwento ng mga experiences niya bilang host ng Umagang Kayganda and as a freshman Creative Writing student sa Ateneo. But just like the saying that you can't please everybody, may mga ilan ang nao-off at nayayabangan kay Rica sa tuwing nililitanya raw ng aktres ang kanyang hectic sked.

Sa atin kasi, damned if you do, damned if you don't. So okay lang because I'm not here to please them.

"Basta ako, I'm very happy with my life. Physically, it's tiring but I'm grateful. Everything has been great to me. But other than that, it's an amazing experience.
