With the second season of Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) about to start in ABS-CBN, natapos na ang obligatory one-year contract sa lahat ng scholars ng first season. Pero pinapirma ulit ng Dream Big Productions ang top three winners na sina Yeng Constantino, Jay-R Siaboc, at Ronnie Liang. The rest, freelancers na or depende kung kukunin naman sila ng Star Magic department ng ABS-CBN.
Nagkaroon kasi ng paunang balita na hindi na pumirma si RJ Jimenez ng contract sa Dream Big, and so are the others like the members of Cebalo band.
"Ito ang gusto naming ikorek, hindi na siya [RJ] pinapirma, hindi siya ang hindi pumirma," sabi ng kausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na konektado sa Dream Big Productions na ayaw ipabanggit ang pangalan.
"Ang contract naman kasi ng lahat with Dream Big, one year. May priority siyempre ang top three so when the first contract ended, sila ang pinapirma ng renewal. Hindi namin alam kung kukunin sila ng Star Magic, hindi pa rin naman kasi ito napapag-usapan," saad pa ng aming source.
It was understood then that starting with PDA, all the talents na manggagaling sa mga reality shows na franchised ng Endemol ay sa Dream Big muna papipirmahin. After a year ay ite-turnover sila sa Star Magic.
Tila hindi ito mangyayari dahil pina-renew ng Dream Big ang top three ng PDA while the rest ay hindi pa assured kung kukunin naman ng Star Magic.
