Four "Cosmopolitan" bachelors are part of the Metro Manila
Film Festival (MMFF) this year. They
are Dingdong Dantes (Resiklo), Alfred Vargas (Banal), Paolo
Paraiso (Banal), and Dennis Trillo (Shake, Rattle, and Roll 9).
Last Monday, December 24, these four hunks were all present at the MMFF Parade of Stars at the Quirino Grandstand, Roxas Boulevard, Manila. PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) grabbed the opportunity to ask them about their plans for New Year's eve and the change sthey want to happen in 2008.
Dindong Dantes said he wanted to be more organized with his things. "Probably start cleaning up my room, throwing the trash that shouldn't be there." The supporting actor of Resiklo also added that he might go to the beach this coming new year "to think."
For 2008, Dingdong is hoping for a better project after Marimar, which is set to end by March.
In the meantime, Alfred Vargas of Banal said he wants to have "better and more efficient time management."
It could be remembered that the main reason why he and former girlfriend LJ Reyes broke up was because of lack of time for each other. With his wish, does this mean that he is preparing for a new relationship?
The hunk actor simply answered, "It will come, it will come."
Meanwhile, Alfred's co-actor Paolo Paraiso said that he might greet the new year in Boracay with his family. "With Mylene [Dizon, former girlfriend], [their son] Tomas, mom and dad, and sister. Lahat kami doon [sa Boracay]," added Paolo.
In 2008, the former "Cosmopolitan" Centerfold bachelor said he wants to be a changed man. He explained, "Every year I want to learn more, I want to be more experienced in life. So every year, yun ang nababago sa akin."
Paolo is going to be very busy in the first quarter of 2008. He told PEP that he's going to have a film with Ara Mina and Cristine Reyes called Ate in March. "Tapos for February, kasama din ako sa movie, Valentine movie ng GMA Films, yung kay Marian [Rivera] at saka kay Richard [Gutierrez]," the actor also mentioned.
The last bachelor, Dennis Trillo, was clearly avoiding the media during the Parade of Stars. PEP asked him if he was already allowed to see his son with Carlene Aguilar, Calix Andreas. The Zaido actor gave a short, "Hindi pa," answer and refused to give more details.
However, Dennis was kind enough to answer PEP forum question. He said in 2008, "Gusto kong simulan ang taon ng maganda kaya tutuparin ko ang mga New Year's resolution ko."
The Shake, Rattle, and Roll 9 "Christmas Tree" star also hopes for, "Better project, more projects. I mean, simulan ng maganda para tuluy-tuloy."
