PUBLIC TRANSPORT/HEAVY TRAFFIC.

“That will only happen if our public transport system is transformed into a viable or a better alternative.”

Sabi pa ng senatorial candidate, “We need to have a unitary public transport system that will operate a coordinated train, bus, and ferry network that should cover all the major land and water traffic arteries in Metro Manila and other major population hubs.”

DEATH PENALTY.

“I am for the restoration of death penalty, but only for heinous crimes, such as drug pushing, rape, murder.”

POLITICAL DYNASTY.

“That is the heart of our democracy, free choice.

“If we are voted for despite the fact that we belong to a known family, and we are not the only one in our family to be in politics, then that is the people's choice to make.”

TERRITORY DISPUTES (SPRATLYS, SABAH, SCARBOROUGH).

“Of course, we should nevertheless be militarily prepared for the worst,” saad niya sa email.

Kailangan din daw maging top budgetary priority ang modernisasyon ng Armed Forces of the Philippines o AFP upang makamit ang modern equipment at teknolohiya.

EDUCATION/K-12.

“We need to improve our quality of education by providing better and more comprehensive and regular training for our teachers,” pahayag ni Pacquiao.

This is the highest form of discrimination and no one should stand for it.

“I call for the speediest and fairest resolution of the investigation being conducted by the Department of Justice so that the necessary charges may be filed before the court against those responsible for these killings.”

PORK BARREL.

“With the Supreme Court ruling on this, we should have enough guidance to legally and morally channel public funds for worthwhile projects in our desire to better our service to the people.”

MINING.

”Government must strictly implement our mining laws and regulations.”

LABOR RIGHTS.

“Contractualization has been abused by some employers, such that workers are hired only for 5 months to be replaced by another set of workers to render service for another 5 months.”

DRUGS.

“We need a fearless and unrelenting drug czar to head the fight against illegal drugs in our country.”
