Bianca King wants public to forget the issue between her and Jean Saburit

"Wala naman akong sama ng loob sa kahit kanino," said Bianca King about her attitude towards Jean Saburit (inset, bottom) who claimed that she is a bad influence on her daughter Nicole Anderson (inset, top).

"I think it's old news na," remarked Bianca King when asked about tension with former actress Jean Saburit, mother of her best friend Nicole Anderson. Jean apparently accused Bianca as a bad influence on her daughter.

Bianca further said that she was actually not directly involved with the issue between Nicole and Jean. In fact, the young actress wanted to forget about it.

During the launching of Friendster Fan Profile at the Ascend Bar, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig, Bianca speculated how her name was dragged into the mother-and-daughter controversy. She said, "Nasama lang yung pangalan ko siguro kasi it was brought up in the conversation, e. Siyempre ako yung pinaka-active sa showbiz so siyempre doon magka-capitalize talaga ang reporters natin, doon sa pinakamatunog na pangalan."

Jean's claim has really affected the 22-year-old actress to the point that her parents went out publicly and defended their daughter .

"Medyo naging affected lang ako noong lumabas ang balita na bad influence daw ako," said Bianca. "Kasi siyempre that reflects on me as a person and my family and my upbringing. Kaya dumating sa point na nag-decide yung manager ko na magsalita yung parents ko para malaman din ng mga tao na hindi ako pwedeng maging bad influence in anyway."

To prove that she would never be one to influence others negatively, Bianca described herself as a daughter.

She said, "At 22 years old, I still live with my parents who are still married. Nandoon palagi yung guidance nila. At saka working student ako, nag-aaral ako, nagtratrabaho ako, wala akong bisyo, so imposible talagang maging bad influence ako. Yun lang yung parang na-bother kami, pero aside from that it's all part of the business."

AT HER EXPENSE. Bianca said that she just tries to understand Jean's accusation.

From her understanding, the young actress explained, "Naiintindihan ko kung bakit siguro kailangang ibalita yun kasi kilala yung pangalan ko. Parang all of this, all of the publicity na nangyayari para sa ibang tao was at my expense.

"But it's okay, I don't have any hard feeling to anyone. Nicole is still my friend and I will always defend her, she will still always defend me, and away na nila yung mag-ina, kaya let's leave it at that."

On the other hand, Bianca does not plan to ask for an apology from Jean. She reiterated that she just wants to forget the issue and move on.

"I can't call it naman libelous or hindi naman siya oral defamation, di ba?" explained Bianca. "Talagang sensationalism lang talaga siya. Ano naman, hindi naman siguro ako ganun kababaw na tao para palakihin pa yung issue. Actually my way of solving it pa nga is downplaying the issue, di ba?"

Bianca further said, "Parang let's not make it seem like ganung ka-grave siya ‘cause it's really not. Next week, people are going to forget about it."

STILL FRIENDS. Meanwhile, the young actress was grateful to Nicole, who defended Bianca during her guest appearance in Showbiz Central last Sunday, January 20.

"Dumating na rin sa point na parang siyempre she felt the need to address it in public. I appreciate that. It's also a way of showing that she's also an educated person, di ba, na haharapin niya nang tama yung issue," said Bianca.

She also clarified that despite the rift with the mother of her friend, Bianca still communicates with Nicole. She narrated, "Nicole and I are always in constant communication but humihingi lang ako ng update sa kanya once in a while about, you know, ‘What's happening? Are you guys okay?' Pero as far as that na lang."

FOCUSED. With her plea to let the issue pass, Bianca said that she would just focus on her career and her studies. Bianca is currently a sophomore film student at the De La Salle University College of Saint Benilde.

Bianca asked the public, "Ang hinihingi ko lang sa tao ay huwag po sana sila magpapadala sa ganung klaseng balita kasi I'm in the business naman for the right reason.

"At saka alam ko po yung purpose ko dito, which is to set an example to the youth. That's why I'm a working student.

"Yun po ang pinakaimportanteng aspeto ng buhay ko na di ko kayang pakawalan for any reason or whatsoever. Yung lang po yung pinangangalagaan ko talaga. Gusto ko pong ituloy ang pagtratrabaho ko para matapos ko rin yung pag-aaral ko, which is ang gusto ko rin, pagkatapos ay tumulong din sa industriya."
