Gardo Versoza can't accept GMA-7 projects while in limbo of ABS-CBN's "Anna Liza"

Character actor Gardo Versoza is one of the actors being affected by the ongoing network war and contract commitments.

The network war and contract commitments are taking its toll on the stars like Gardo Versoza.

Kung sa GMA Films ba na pinirmahan niya last September 2007 or this new contract he signed with his new manager Mrs. Rose Flaminiano for ABS-CBN and Star Cinema? It seems that only big stars could get away with it.

Case in point si Gardo who has a standing contract with ABS-CBN for the remake of Anna Liza starring Maja Salvador. Pagkatapos ni Gardo sa Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap, na Sine Novela ng GMA-7, and a special participation sa Kamandag ni Richard Gutierrez, he is committed by his manager Ed Instrella to do his next project with ABS-CBN, ang Anna Liza nga.

November 2007 ito sinimulan ngunit nahinto ang taping—some say it's already shelved—kung kaya't Abril na, wala pa ring long-term project si Gardo for either station.

"Aburidong-aburido" is the term used by our source na malapit kay Gardo kung ano ang nararamdaman ng aktor ngayon.

Pero that was three weeks ago pa.

Hindi naman daw malaking artista si Gardo and he doesn't get multi-million deals like the big stars are getting. "Gardo still has to work pa rin, he needs work right now," sabi ng kausap namin.
