SHINee member Jonghyun's close friends, relatives and fans bid their final farewell to him today, December 21 at his funeral procession.
Fellow SHINee members Minho, Onew, Key, and Taemin took the role of "sang joo" (principal or chief mourners) and carried his coffin from Seoul's Asan hospital and loaded it into a hearse that will take Jonghyun's remains to a still undisclosed final resting place. Helping the SHINee members carry the coffin were Super Junior's Leetuk, Eunhyuk, and Donghae.
Also present during the funeral procession were members of Girl Generation, Red Velvet, and other SM Entertainment (Record label where SHINee is signed) fellow artists.
Jonghyun passed away last December 18 at his residence. Police ruled his death as suicide.
