Nabalita kasi right after the wedding na naging "killjoy" raw
I never diverted from issues. I only went to the issues, answer the issues, and after that, I kept quiet, okay. There were many things that started to happen again, which I kept quite and I never bothered to answer it and everything.
"For the sake of my son and for the sake of Inah, I kept quiet. I didn't want to say anything because I supported my son two hundred percent, and I always have supported them in any way that they wanted. They wanted to get married, I gave them the money and all of that. So for me, now that the wedding is over, I'm happy and everything is back to normal. So our life also is back to normal now," pahayag ng ama ni Vince.
"WALKOUT" ISSUE. May lumabas ding balita na muntik nang mag-walkout si Mr. del Rosario during the wedding ceremony. Totoo ba ito?
"Ang istorya talaga sa wedding was that when I arrived... I was the first one to arrive, ‘no. Kinausap ako ng...the person that was in-charge, coordinator of the wedding. They were telling me to sit down in front with Bong. I said no. I'm comfortable here in the back. I would rather stay with my wife and stay in the back.
"So they were trying to convince me, but they were not able to convince me until the latter part when they told me, ‘Please lang, it's for the sake of the children. Why don't you stay beside Bong?' So I said, ‘Okay, in that case, if that's for the children, I will do it.'
"But then, when I said yes, after a while, I saw the old man, the [former] Senator [Ramon Revilla, Sr., Bong's father] walking and going towards to where I was supposedly seated. I said hello to him. I greeted him and all of that.
So when I was going back, sinundan ako ni Ipe [Phillip Salvador, Bong's close friend]. Sabi ko, ‘Ipe, nandun na yung senador and I really don't have to sit down there because I'm comfortable to where I am.
"No, there was no truth to that," diin niya. "There was no truth to that, absolutely. I really went to the wedding and I stayed on the wedding until the ceremony was over. So I never walked out, but I left the church early. After the picture taking and everything, I did not wait for everybody to leave. I left early. Maybe that's what they say I walked out, but I never walked out.
"I never walked out in church. I stayed in church and I had no intention of walking out. Binigyan ko lang ng galang yung matandang senador na makaupo kasama ni Bong, so that both of them will be there."
"Ah, I really don't know," sagot ni Mr. del Rosario. "As I said, I was never part whatever the committee was. I never knew any detail of the wedding."
"HARD TO GET."
"That is true because I am not showbiz and I've never been in showbiz," kumpirma niya. "My family has always been private. We always wanted to be private. So, in other words, the only picture taking I wanted to do was that with my immediate family.
"When they call me, I went there. But anything after that, I said no more because I'm not showbiz. They even had a picture taking when they arrived in Shangri-La, which I never wanted to join because I'm not showbiz."
But when I saw that...I turned around, I went up, maling kuwarto yung napasukan ko," kuwento ni Mr. del Rosario.
"No, no. I was never informed," sagot niya. "After that, umakyat na ako sa itaas. We waited for them to finish and it took them to be interviewed for the picture taking and everything. So I waited."
"I have not talked to Bong and Lani. After the wedding, I wished them well when I saw them. Until now, I haven't talked to them," pag-amin ni Mr. del Rosario.
INAH MEETS VINCE'S FAMILY.
"Oh, they are very well. As a matter of fact, it's my father's first death anniversary last night [June 4]. They were all there. We had dinner, so my whole family, the whole Del Rosario clan was there, and Inah was able to meet the whole Del Rosario family."
How is Inah with the Del Rosarios?
"I don't think she should feel anything because my family welcomed her with open arms. So, wala talaga siyang problema sa pamilya."
"Well, there's no truth to that. It's probably typical parents worrying about what will happen to their daughter. But then, as I said, I always welcome Inah, my family always welcome Inah with open hands.
"So, there's really nothing to worry about. My son is now being groomed to be one, one of them, isa lang ‘yan, e. Maraming magpipinsan ‘yan, maraming magkakapatid ‘yan. Groomed so that one of them can take care of our family business. So, that's basically how Vince is doing right now. He's okay. He still studying. He's trying to finish in Mapua but he'll transfer, I think, in Ateneo after a year," lahad ni Mr. del Rosario.
Saan ngayon nakatira sina Vince at Inah?
"Doon sa condo. They are in their condo now and both of them hopefully are very happy. They were thankful and they were happy, and I'm glad they are happy."
Right after the wedding ay papasok pa raw si Vince sa Mapua.
"Yes, up to now, he's still been going to school because that was my father's wish. In my father's will, he said that everybody will have to finish schooling before they can work in the company and this they know, all of them. Or else they will not be able to enter the company."
"I think they're both excited. Yes, especially my son. I think he's excited to see his daughter. It is the first Del Rosario that will come out. I did not say my first apo. I just said first Del Rosario.
"Vince is very nice person, very good boy. I think Inah is lucky to have Vince so as Vince is lucky to have Inah. Both of them are both lucky. And they are really both in love. So I'm glad that they are both in love, and I hope they will stay in love for the rest of their lives and I wish them well."
What about his friendship with Senator Bong?
"The friendship? I won't be here. I'll be out, so I don't know what friendship we are talking about," pagtatapos ni Mr. del Rosario.
