Tila first and last team-up nina Lovi Poe at Jolo Revilla ang nagtapos na Kaputol ng Isang Awit dahil wala sa plano ng Regal Entertainment na ipares pa ang anak ng yumaong Hari ng Pelikulang Pilipino na si Fernando Po Jr. sa binatang-ama na anak ni Bong Revilla. May tatlong pelikulang nakahanda ang Regal para kay Lovi at naghahanap sila ng bagong mapa-partner sa kanya.
Una na rito ang Ina Ka ng Anak Mo, na technically ay hindi raw remake ng original 1979 classic movie that featured Ms. Lolita Rodriguez and Ms. Nora Aunor although kuwento rin ito ng mag-ina. To be directed by Jun Lana, Lovi will co-star with Ms. Eula Valdes as her mother.
The second is one of the two accepted Regal entries for the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines 2008 na Shake, Rattle, & Roll 10. Sa SRR 9 na-introduce si Lovi sa "Christmas Tree" episode, kung saan siya nakatanggap ng award for Best New Female Performance sa nakalipas na PMPC Star Awards for Movies.
The third is a young sex-comedy na Bad Girls na kung kani-kanino na na-connect—either stars, title, or director. First time naming itong narinig as a follow-up sana ni Rufa Mae Quinto after Manay Po 2: Overload. Na-attached na rin ang project kay Katrina Halili and, lastly, when Regal Films signed up Niña Jose, ito raw ang magiging launching movie niya.
Not any of these movies will feature Lovi with Jolo.
