Baron Geisler hits back, files perjury case against Yayo Aguila

After snubbing the first hearing of his acts-of-lasciviousnesscase, Baron Geisler finally showed up yesterday, July 17 at the Department ofJustice. Then, today he was reportedfiling a perjury case against Yayo Aguila, mother of his complainant PatriciaMartinez, for allegedly lying in the sworn statement she submitted to theJustice Department.

Controversial young actor Baron Geisler filed a perjury caseagainst actress Yayo Aguila during the preliminary investigation of his sexcase today, July 18. Baron's camp allegedthat she lied in the sworn statement she submitted to the Justice departmentwith regard to his acts of lasciviousness case.

According to 24 Oras, Baron's camp argued that Yayowas in America when the incident happened so it would be impossible thatshe witnessed the allegations thrown at him.

On the other hand, Aguila's legal representative, Atty. SalPanelo, dismissed the perjury case as ridiculous and said that his clientYayo Aguila was only narrating what her daughter told her. He explained, "'Yong nasa affidavit ni Yayo is based on herpersonal knowledge. ‘Yong pag-text nibaron, gaya noong pagtawag ng anak niya sa kanya—ebidensya 'yon, hindi hearsay'yon."

It could be remembered that that in April, Baron was slappedwith acts of lasciviousness charges by Patricia Martinez, daughter of celebritycouple Yayo and William Martinez.

Patricia accused Baron of fondling her and of asking her to have sexwith him at Fiamma Bar on Jupiter Street in Makati City last April 25,2008. She also stated that Baron wasdrunk when it happened. Martinez campis asking for P5 million in damages from Baron.

In response, Baron filed a countersuit of unjust vexationagainst the complainant. He addedto his affidavit that the charges filed by Patricia have no basis and onlyintend to malign him.

Baron and Yayo were both former celebrity housemates of PinoyBig Brother Celebrity Edition, which was shown in the last quarter of 2007.
