Actress-singer-TV host Manilyn Reynes suffered a miscarriage last Tuesday, September 2. This was reported by Abante columnists Abu Tilamzik and Jojo Gabinete in their respective columns, which came out today, September 5.
Manilyn was on her fourth month of pregnancy when she had a miscarriage. The unborn child would have been Manilyn's third child with husband Aljon Jimenez. She and Aljon, a former actor, have two sons.
The celebrity couple had long wanted to have another child since their youngest child is already grown.
According to Abu Tilamzik, Manilyn was just discharged from the Manila Sanitarium Hospital. She will just rest for a few days before resuming her work as co-host of Moms on QTV-11
PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last saw Manilyn during the joint birthday celebration of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera at the Araneta Coliseum last August 27, where she appeared as Corazon, her character in Marimar.
PEP is praying for Manilyn's speedy recovery.
