Last November 14, ipinasok na naman sa ospital si Francis Magalona. Ayon sa text message na ipinadala ng asawa ni Francis na si Pia Magalona sa Showbiz Central, "We're at Medical City now for tests because he's having intermittent fever, so he's having antibiotics infused in case of bacterial infection. But he's normal naman and he's not bedridden."
Pero kahapon sa Showbiz Central, nakausap nga nang live ni Mo Twister si Francis over the telephone at tinanong ni Mo kay Francis kung bakit siya naospital noong Biyernes.
Sinabi ng Master Rapper na sumailalim na naman siya ng blood transfusion since his last chemotherapy. Pero matapos niyon ay nakaranas na siya ng pagtsi-chill kaya nagdesisyon siyang magpatingin sa kanyang doktor. Pero dahil nakalipad na raw papuntang States ang kanyang doktor, ibang doktor na lang ang tumingin sa kanya sa rekomendasyon na rin ng regular attending doctor niya.
"All throughout, they had me tested. They wanted to pinpoint where it's coming from. They thought, I have this thing, this kind of thing, all the results naman are good. I had a CT scan just recently, a couple of nights ago, it's okay. So, I'll be doing a bone-marrow extraction, probably by Tuesday and then, I might do my third cycle for my chemotherapy. It's my kind of maintenance, e."
Kinumusta na rin ni Mo kay Francis ang tungkol sa nababalitang music comeback ni Francis with fellow musician Ely Buendia. Ely also recently underwent treatment for his weak heart.
"I'm very happy to inform everybody that we already recorded our first song for the project band that we are doing. We did it last Monday and it was very successful. As a matter of fact, the song is really... I really love it!
"And I'm writing music now, as I speak here in the hospital. I'm writing lyrics now in the computer. Just bouncing ideas, texting and calling each other. We're due to...hopefully we can record the next in the couple of weeks. We have a playdate, early realease next year. Watch out for this. It's gonna be great. I feel so good about it."
Sa huli, nagpasalamat si Francis sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa kanya at nagpahayag na muli, nangangailangan siya ng blood donations.
"I'd like to thank all the people who supported and I'll be needing some blood, probably soon, for the platelets and thank you so much for the donors. And for the all the people who are supporting thank you so much."
