Sunshine Cruz sat down and talked with members of the entertainment media while waiting for the press conference of Petit Monde to start yesterday, November 20,at Annabel's Restaurant on T. Morato Ave., Quezon City. In the interview, the sexy actress gladly told the media that she and husband Cesar Montano are now okay.
It can be recalled that this celebrity couple experienced amarital problem in the last weeks of 2007. This started when rumors spread about Cesar being linked to a Brazilianmodel named Mariana del Rio. Followingthis, a news report also came out saying that Sunshine left their home inQuezon City. Cesar denied thisand casually said, "Oh, one of those tampuhans lang ng mag-asawa."
Months after this issue, there were also reports that Cesar was wooing his wife back. The "panunuyo" worked and Cesar got Sunshineback.
Sunshine did not elaborate about this. In fact, when PEP (Philippine EntertainmentPortal) asked her if they're living in the same house again, she just replied,"Naku, dapat yata siya ang tinatanong niyo."
She assured the media, however, that she realized how muchshe loves her husband. In fact, whenentertainment columnist Ricky Lo asked her about the lesson she learnedfrom their recent marriage problem, she answered, "Leksyon?
She added that from the very beginning of theirrelationship, she knew that Cesar is the last man for her. "I have never imagined living my lifewithout him," said Sunshine.
What did she miss about Cesar?
At saka 'yong sense of humor, kasi pilyo, makulit, 'yong ganun. 'Yon ang nami-miss ko sa kanya."
Sunshine admits that Cesar is still making an effort to make upfor the things that happened in their relationship. Siyempre, matutuwa ako as a mom kung gagawinniya 'yon. Small things na for me... sabiko nga it doesn't matter kung big or small.
The 30-year-old actress smiled and answered, "Wala, hindi nanamin pinag-uusapan ang mga 'yan.Basta, lahat ngayon nasa postive muna kami since magki-Christmas, gustonaman naming mag-Christmas together.
She remained consistent about being mum on the "selosan"issue because when entertainment columnist Ethel Ramos asked her again aboutthis, her response was, "Tita, no comment po.I have changed na po."
Sunshine will be spending Christmas with Cesar and theirthree daughters. She told the media,"Mayroon siyang [Cesar] plano na baka with the kids mag-Hong KongDisneyland. If not, kahit naman sabahay lang, Tito Ricky, just as long as we're together."
Sunshine left a message for her husband this comingChristmas: "Maging stronger lalo and, ano lang, kahit ano pangpagsubok ang dumating, kakayanin namin.
