The Kapuso network's latest Sine Novela, Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?, debuted last Monday, March 2, with an impressive 22.1 percent. This new soap topbilled by Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal, which replaced the timeslot of Saan Darating ang Umaga?, ranked second behind current leader Paano Ba ang Mangarap? starring Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras.
Eat Bulaga! came in third with 20.8 percent; followed by Wowowee (19.2 percent) and Daisy Siete (18.4 percent) to complete the Top 5.
In the primetime race, the telefantasya Luna Mystika regained the No. 1 spot with 34.3 percent. Last week's top-rater Totoy Bato slipped to second place with 33.2 percent.
Occupying the Top 5 positions are 24 Oras (31.3 percent), Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang (30.2 percent), and May Bukas Pa (29.9 percent).
Completing the rest of the honor roll are: Tayong Dalawa, I Love Betty La Fea, TV Patrol World, SNN, and Fated To Love You.
GMA-7's musical-variety show SOP topped the daytime race last Sunday, March 1, with 15.9 percent; followed by the pilot episode of Joey's Quirky World (15.6 percent), ASAP '09 (15.1 percent), Showbiz Central (14 percent), and the premiere episode of Your Song Presents Underage (13.1 percent) to complete the Top 5.
Mel & Joey, on the other hand, became the highest-rated primetime show by virtue of its 27.4 percent rating. Trailing behind are Kap's Amazing Stories (22.5 percent), My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad (21.3 percent), All Star K (21 percent), and Rated K (20.6 percent).
Eat Bulaga! and Wowowee engaged in a tight contest for daytime supremacy last Saturday, February 28. But in the end, Eat Bulaga! prevailed with its 23.1 percent mark against Wowowee's 21 percent.
Three Kapuso shows occupied the rest of the Top 5. These are Wish Ko Lang (15.3 percent), Takeshi's Castle (14.9 percent), and Pinoy Records (14.8 percent).
Mike Enriquez's Imbestigador took the No. 1 spot in the primetime race with 31.5 percent while Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho was in second place with 27.7 percent.
Last Saturday's Maalaala Mo Kaya episode, starring Angel Locsin, finished third with 26 percent; followed by Bitoy's Funniest Videos (23.7 percent) and Kapuso Movie Festival (20.3 percent).
The last episode of the afternoon soap Saan Darating ang Umaga? was the most-watched daytime show last Friday, February 27. This family drama topbilled by Yasmien Kurdi posted a rating of 23.4 percent.
Occupying the rest of the Top 5 are Eat Bulaga! (21 percent), Paano Ba ang Mangarap? (20.6 percent), Daisy Siete (17.4 percent), and Wowowee (16.1 percent).
Finally, Totoy Bato ended its first week still on top with 32.7 percent, closely followed by Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang with 31.1 percent, while Luna Mystika slipped to No. 3 with 31 percent.
GMA-7's Chinovela Fated to Love You climbed to No. 4 with 29.4 percent while ABS-CBN's May Bukas Pa took the fifth spot with 28.8 percent.
The rest of the Top 10 was occupied by Tayong Dalawa, I Love Betty La Fea, 24 Oras, TV Patrol World, and Bubble Gang.
