These were the words of sexy actress Katrina Halili in a Startalk segment, when asked about her opinion on the ongoing case against celebrity doctor Hayden Kho and her push to have his license revoked. Last Friday, August 7, 2009, Katrina went to the Philippine Association of Professional Regulatory Boards (PAPRB) for an update regarding the case.
The subdued and red-eyed Katrina looked quite prepared for whatever the PAPRB decides on Hayden's license and it clearly showed in her statement when asked about the matter.
Her lawyer Raymund Palad shared that they have already submitted the necessary documents and that it would be thirty days before he and his client get feedback from PAPRB on whether or not Hayden will have his license revoked.
"Magsa-submit muna kami ng position paper thirty days from today," explained the lawyer. "After which the case will be... considered submitted for petition. Siguro mga thirty days after submission."
The visit at the PAPRB also required a Clarificatory Hearing, which again reminded Katrina of her terrible experience.
Right now, Katrina is just waiting for the Department of Justice's decision on the matter. How does she feel about it?
"Sana kung manalo, maganda," she said.
STILL TRUSTED DESPITE SCANDAL. Despite the scandal, Katrina is nothing but glad and thankful for the continued shows she is getting from her home network GMA-7 and projects like endorsements and cover appearances in magazines like Cosmopolitan.
"Masaya ako dahil pinagkatiwalaan ako," she said. "Happy po ako."
Lastly, Katrina shared that though she does not know what the future holds for her and the case, she'll see the battle to the end with her principles intact.
"Sa isip ko, tao lang naman tayo. Like ako, wala naman akong pera.
