Kris Aquino reveals she wants to get married at the Manaoag Shrine

Kris says her mother asked one thing of her before she died. "What do you want for me and James?" she asked the former President, and her mother distinctly said the word "church."

Last September 9, members of the Aquino family attended Mass at different churches to commemorate the 40th day of the death of former President Corazon Aquino.

Kris Aquino opted to attend the Mass in Balanga, Bataan because the Mass there was officiated by Monsignor Soc Villegas. At this event, Entertainment Live was able to ask Kris for her reaction to her brother's declaration that he would run for president in the May 2010 elections.

"Isa lang ang masasabi ko about Noynoy, he is uncorrupted. Sa pagkasimple ng kapatid ko, sa simple ng pamumuhay, kahit ungkatin n'yo lahat, kung meron akong puwedeng maipagmalaki, iyon yun," said the TV host.

Kris also recalled the one request that her mother asked of her before she passed away. She remembers asking her, "What do you want for me and James?" And the late President distinctly said the word "church."

It will be recalled that Kris and James Yap got married in a civil ceremony in July 2005. "Kami ni James, three months pa lang, we went to Manaoag [Shrine in Pangasinan] and nung time na yun, in my mind, nakita ko, 'ay, if I'm gonna get married in church, gusto ko dito ikakasal.' But then you have to wait for the babang luksa, which is one year [from the time of death]."

Kris and her family left for Hawaii Thursday to take a vacation.
