Aljur Abrenica's lawyer explains the actor's absence at preliminary investigation of his acts of lasciviousness case

Young actor Aljur Abrenica was a no-show at the preliminary investigation of the acts of lasciviousness case filed against him by a 15-year-old girl.

Ambrosio:

"The Department of Justice conducted yesterday the initial preliminary investigation of the complaint filed by a 15-year-old female against Aljur Abrenica.

"The subpoena, along with the complaint affidavit and other supporting documents was sent to Aljur's home studio.

"On inspection, it was learned that some listed documents were either omitted or were missing some pages.

"As Aljur's legal counsel, I informed DOJ Prosecutor Atty. Amanda Felipe who ordered the NBI, thru agent Kristine dela Cruz, to furnish Aljur the missing evidence to enable Aljur to file his counter-affidavit."
