It was a stellar debut for ABS-CBN's new primetime soap Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo. Topbilled by Kris Aquino, Gabby Concepcion, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Coco Martin, among others, Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo posted a rating of 36.4 percent on its pilot episode last night, January 18. Just like in the Mega Manila ratings of AGB, the new Kapamilya drama series placed second overall, this time behind top-rater May Bukas Pa's 38.7 percent.
Four other Kapamilya shows made it in the winners' circle: TV Patrol World (No. 3, 36 percent), Tanging Yaman (No. 4, 31.1 percent), Pinoy Big Brother Double Up (No. 5, 30.1 percent), and Boys Over Flowers (No. 10, 20 percent).
The rest of the Top 10 was occupied by the following GMA-7 shows: Darna (27.2 percent), The Last Prince (25.2 percent), 24 Oras (25.1 percent), and Full House (21.5 percent).
Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo continued the winning streak of the show it replaced, Dahil May Isang Ikaw. The last episode of Dahil May Isang Ikaw last Friday, Jan. 15, generated a whopping 42.6 percent, only a fraction lower than May Bukas Pa (42.7 percent).
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN's noontime show, Wowowee, continues its domination in the daytime race, topping the ratings game Friday, Saturday, and Monday. ASAP XV was the leader in the daytime race last Sunday, Jan. 17.
ABS-CBN's Pepeng Agimat and Pinoy Big Brother Double Up topped the weekend primetime race.
