Piolo Pascual is the most recent unfortunate target of a hoax text message, which claimed that he was "naaksidente" and "nahulog."

Celebrities are not alien to hoax text messages, and the recent victim is Piolo Pascual.

Last night, a text message circulated claiming that the singer-actor was "naaksidente" and that today, "namatay siya."

Star Magic, the talent management company handling Piolo's career, didn't get to read the actual content. But the handlers were bombarded with "Is it true?" since this morning.

Thess Gubi, Star Magic's publicist, related to PEP via a phone conversation with the site's managing editor Karen Pagsolingan at around 7:30 p.m., "Ang sabi ay naaksidente. Meron pang kumalat na nahulog somewhere or from a building. Word of mouth na lang siya...'Tapos tinatanong nila sa amin kung totoo."

So, is it true?

Gubi said, " No." The actor was dozing off in his home at the time of the supposed accident. And at present, he's very much alive, and is in Subic for a shoot.
