GMA-7 actor Mark Herras was recently rushed to the hospital for overfatigue. He was later diagnosed with a gall bladder polyp and kidney stones.

Nadia Montenegro, mother of Mark's girlfriend Ynna Asistio, granted an exclusive interview with Startalk last Saturday, August 7, to shed light on the young actor's current condition.

She explained that Mark does not usually take the initiative to visit the doctor for a check-up, so his statement alarmed her. She also added that Mark complained of waist pains which later turned out to be a gall bladder polyp.

"Pero matatanggal lang po yun through surgery lang," she clarified. "So, kailangan po munang palakasin yung katawan ni Mark."

On a separate interview in the same program, Mark explained his condition, saying that it developed from lack of water and too much intake of salty food.

"Hindi po ako palainom ng tubig, e," he told his manager and Startalk host Lolit Solis.

Stones were also spotted in Mark's kidneys, said Montenegro. But unlike the polyp, his kindey stones could be cured through medication.

Montenegro further added that Mark's lungs are a major concern.

She wrapped it up by saying that Mark's major problem at the moment is severe fatigue and that the young actor was medically advised to rest for two months.
