Shaina Magdayao on the nasty rumor about her and John Lloyd: "I think it's the most outrageous tsismis ever sa industriya natin!"

So, mas lumalalim, definitely, yung relationship namin. And siguro, mas ma-appreciate namin yung isa't isa, yung purpose ng isa't isa sa buhay namin," says Shaina Magdayao (in photo) on how she and boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz are treating the malicious rumor.

Young actress Shaina Magdayao finally breaks her silence about the nasty rumor involving her and boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.

Shaina vehemently denied the rumor at the press conference of her new afternoon series, Precious Hearts Romances Presents Alyna, held earlier this afternoon, September 16, on the 14th floor of ABS-CBN.

"No, hindi po totoo 'yon," Shaina firmly said.

She expressed her disappointment at those who had started the rumor.

I think it's the most outrageous tsismis ever sa industriya natin!" Shaina exclaimed.

She added, as if to lighten the mood, "Masyado ho yata siyang nanonood ng Grey's Anatomy (a U.S. medical drama series)."

The nasty rumor, which started going around early September, pointed to Shaina and John Lloyd as the couple who were rushed to a private hospital after suffering from a very rare medical condition called "penis captivus."

This medical condition, according to wordiq.com, refers to a situation "where muscles in the vagina clamp down on the penis much more firmly than usual, making it impossible for the penis to withdraw from the vagina regardless of erection status."

Shaina said she found the rumor totally absurd.

She thanked those who stood by her despite the issue.

"Maraming maraming salamat po, sincerely from the bottom of our hearts sa pagtatanggol n'yo sa amin.

TV host and talent manager Boy Abunda and Star Magic earlier denied the rumor.

"Ito po ay walang katotohanan. This is unfair especially to a girl like Shaina. Hindi po ito totoo, 'wag po kayong maniwala," Boy said on the September 9 episode of the showbiz news show, SNN.

The talent arm of ABS-CBN, on the other hand, called the nasty rumor "a hoax" and the product of "sick minds." (CLICK here to read related story.)

REQUEST TO HELP STOP THE RUMOR. The composed Shaina also revealed how she felt when she found out about the rumor.

"Kung nababastusan ako? Definitely! Kung nabababaan ako? Definitely! Kung natsi-cheapan po ako? Oo!

However, the actress has requested everyone with Internet access to help stop the spread of the malicious rumor.

TO THE RUMORMONGER. Directing her attention at the people behind the rumor, the actress asked them to stop making moves to destroy her reputation.

"Wala naman pong siraan ng trabaho. Lahat tayo may talento at gamitin po natin 'yon sa proper way, sa responsible way, hindi po para makasira ng buhay ng isang tao," she said.

She added on behalf of people who became victims of malicious rumors, "Kung nakakatuwa sa inyo, sa aming mga nabibiktimang mga artista, hindi po nakakatuwa."

Shaina added that StarMagic is now investigating the issue and once completed, her camp, led by her father, would take appropriate legal actions.

For sure, hindi niya magugustuhan yung feeling ng ganitong pinagdadaanan," she said.

TAKING IT POSITIVELY. Shaina related that she and John Lloyd were alarmed when the issue came out, primarily because of its offensive content.

How is she dealing with the issue?

"Kesa isipin ko pa yung mga ganung bagay, ang iniiisp ko na lang, I'm really very grateful na after so many years in the business, meron pa din akong trabaho."

She added that career and work are her priorities.

Shaina shared that the downside in her life was when she didn't have projects and things weren't going well in her personal life.

"Pero sabi ko nga," she added, "God works in mysterious ways.

Shaina also said that her new show was helping her cope with the situation.

"So, iba po yung excitement at happiness na ibinigay sa akin ng show na ito."

Aside from Alyna, Shaina also starred recently in a family-oriented movie Sa 'Yo Lamang with Bea Alonzo and Lorna Tolentino.

RELATIONSHIP WITH JOHN LLOYD. Asked if her boyfriend is affected by the issue, Shaina nodded and said, "Nakakabastos ho kasi talaga."

However, she said that she had no regrets when John Lloyd announced their relationship to the public.

"Kasi, wala naman po dapat itago, e. I always live life to the fullest para wala akong regrets," she said.

Ibinibigay 'to ni God sa akin and for His own reasons.

"Siguro to make me stronger, to make me a better person.

Shaina also said that this particular problem will not affect the status of her relationship with John Lloyd.

"Actually, it makes us stronger, kasi panibagong problema yung pinagdadaanan namin.

So, mas lumalalim, definitely, yung relationship namin.

"And siguro, mas ma-appreciate namin yung isa't isa, yung purpose ng isa't isa sa buhay namin," explained Shaina.
