Erap Estrada, Herbert Bautista, Richard Gomez, Lani Mercado lead mayoral race

<p>Celebrity candidates Joseph "Erap" Estrada, Herbert Bautista, Richard Gomez, and Lani Mercado are leading the mayoral race in their respective localities.</p>

Reelectionist Joseph “Erap” Estrada is currently in a close fight with rival and former Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim with a difference of more or less three thousand votes.

Mayor Erap has garnered 268,268 votes, while Lim has 265,601 number of partial and unofficial votes as of past 11 P.M.

On the other hand, Quezon City reelectionist Herbert Bautista is slated for a landslide victory with 683,054 turnout of partial and unofficial votes as of 11:07 P.M.

Bacoor City mayoral candidate Lani Mercado-Revilla is also up for victory with 103,687 partial and unofficial votes as of 11:07 P.M.

Also running for mayor in Bacoor city are Andoy Remulla and Edwin Malvar with 45,949 and 20, 550 share of partial votes, respectively.

After suffering three political losses in past elections, Richard Gomez is now leading the mayoral race in Ormoc City with 48,764 partial and unofficial votes as of 11:26 P.M.

Other mayoral candidates in Ormoc are Ondo Condilla and Mar Gallardo who have 40,049 votes and 541 partial and unofficial votes, respectively.
