Solenn Heussaff braces herself for critics' reviews as My Valentine Girls hits theaters

Solenn Heussaff will host her own makeover show at GMA News TV, titled Fashbook. The former Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown castaway will help ordinary people feel good about themselves not just physically, but emotionally and psychologically, as well.

Fashbook ang title ng makeover show ni Solenn sa nasabing network, na dating kilala as Q Channel 11.

"We basically help ordinary people feel good about themselves: inside and outside," bungad ni Solenn nang makausap siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang entertainment reporters.

"We have a site like Facebook, but it's called Fashbook, and you can inquire about it if you want a makeover and it's usually people with sad stories. Like sometimes their moms kicked them out of the house because they think they're ugly or stuff like that.

"So we help them regain confidence and then also we give them a new look. Inside, because we have a psychologist or a life coach. She teaches them confidence and obviously talks about their problems. We also have a team of hair and makeup artists, stylist, for the clothes."

"Me, I give my input and also become their best friend in motivating them. I motivate them to keep on doing the change... and then we present them to their family on the second day."

POLISHING HER TAGALOG.

"Pero kailangan ako puro Tagalog at the end. So, little by little," ngiti ni Solenn.

"Kasi I speak like a machine gun and sobrang bilis magsalita ko.

"Sometimes si Richard, always telling me to slow down. Tapos pag hindi ko alam 'yong translation, he will translate it for me. So sobrang helpful siya," sabi ni Solenn.

Ngayong araw, February 9, ang first day of showing ng My Valentine Girls sa mga sinehan.

"Kasi siyempre naman, first acting gig ko, tapos I'm scared of all the critics. So, I'm kind of scared. But I think I did a good job for my first movie, tapos walang training. Ngayon, I want to take more workshops and learn more about the craft."

FRAMES AND NUDE PAINTING.

"I have to help him frame it na kasi he has no taste for the framing... I'll help him find the right frame," nakangiting sabi ni Solenn.

(CLICK HERE to read related article.)

"I was explaining before, if you enter a house, tapos may isang nude na babae, no one reacts to it. Dedma lang, but, yeah, it's nice.

"But if you enter a house and you see a nude guy parang, 'What the hell?' So even if they offered, I wouldn't do it!" natatawang paliwanag ni Solenn.
