ABS-CBN reiterates that GMA-7 "should refrain from commenting" on Kapamilya case versus AGB Nielsen

ABS-CBN reiterates that "GMA is not a party to the case."

In his short text message, ABS-CBN corporate communications head Bong Osorio reiterated: "GMA is not a party to the case and should refrain from commenting on it."

Muling nagpaabot ng kanilang mensahe ang ABS-CBN ukol sa umiinit na namang usapin ng kaso nila laban sa AGB Nielsen.

Nais ng Kapamilya network na tigilan na ng GMA-7 ang pakikialam sa isyu.

Sa maiksing text message na ipinadala ni Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN corporate communications head, sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ngayong gabi, January 3, sinabi nitong:

"ABS-CBN accurately stated in its earlier press statement that its case vs AGB Nielsen is still pending in court.

"Let us reiterate that GMA is not a party to the case and should refrain from commenting on it."

Nauna na kasing naglabas ang GMA-7 ng statement ukol sa pahayag ng kampo ng Kapamilya network sa tunay na estado ng kaso.

Ayon sa statement ng GMA-7, mali raw ang pinanghahawakan ng ABS-CBN na "pending" pa ang kanilang kaso sa korte.

Ito raw ay "case closed" na, base sa impormasyong ipinadala ni GMA corporate communications consultant Butch Raquel.

Dagdag pa nito, nilinaw rin ng Kapuso network (GMA-7) na may karapatan silang magkomento ukol sa kaso dahil nais nilang makasiguro na "accurate" ang impormasyong naipahahatid sa publiko.

Sa kasalukuyan, AGB Nielsen pa rin ang ginagamit na ratings service provider ng GMA-7.

Samantalang kinuha ang serbisyo ng Kantar/TNS ng ABS-CBN magmula nang sampahan nila ng civil case ang AGB Nielsen noong December 14, 2007.
