You Are My Song," "I’ll Never Go," "Reaching Out," "Rainbow," "Tell Me," Hold On," at marami pang iba.
"Well, I was thinking more of the fans.
"I connected with the songs the way I wanna connect with the fans... that’s what I was thinking while I’m doing this album," sagot ng international recording artist.
NEW SEASON OF AMERICAN IDOL.
"To the current crop of contestants, I would just say, I mean... something I could say is that don’t keep in mind that you might be compared with the other contestants in the competition.
"People will try to compare you with the other contestants, but that’s not what your focus should be.
"You just focus on being yourself and think about how you could bring out what you love doing, and do your best in every performance, and that’s how people will remember the most."
Ani David, "Before I came here, I was watching Whitney videos...
"I dunno, I just happen to watch her videos before I came here, like her video of ’I Will Always Love You’ and ’The Greatest Love of All.’
"She is a great talent!
"She was one of my early inspirations with my music, especially when I was young.
"Her song ’I Will Always Love You’ is one of my personal favorites.
"She is also one of the artists that my mom listens to a lot.
"One of my personal favorites is ’I Will Always Love You,’ especially when I have a high voice back then.
"I still have a high voice, but not nearly as high."
Patuloy ng batang singer, "I was so scared! It was a memorable experience for me, it’s one of the greatest songs, I think, ever written and one of the best recordings.
"I think she is one of the most influential people in the world, with her music and her voice.
"She will be greatly missed and she will always be remembered."
VALENTINE’S DATE?
"That was my Valentine’s Day experience, but it was really special.
"I got to spend time with the people that I’ve worked with that felt like family.
"So, it was great to spend the day with them.
"In between takes, while we were doing the video, we were doing karaoke, which is awesome!" sabay tawa ni David.
"So, that was fun," pahabol pa niya.
Aniya, tungkol sa kanyang experience, "And then, getting to perform as a special guest at Regine and Ogie’s concert, it was very special.
"I have so much respect for them.
"I look up to them so much, and not just because of how talented they are, how good people they are, but they’re just very loving people, and I have much respect for both of them!
"That’s why it didn’t feel like work, really. I mean, well... I kept busy, it was a busy day."
Sino ang maituturing niyang "special someone" noong Valentine’s Day?
"I called my mom, if that counts.
"I wished her a Happy Valentine’s Day—even though it wasn’t Valentine’s yet over there [in the States]—after the concert.
"So, yeah. That’s the only special someone I called," at muling tumawa si David.
LONGEST STAY.
"Everything happens really fast here, really quickly; but it’s been fun, it’s been exciting.
"This is quite a unique experience, staying this long away from home.
"But I will definitely come back," pangako pa ni David.
RELIGIOUS MISSON. Pag-uwi ni David sa kanyang hometown sa Salt Lake City, Utah, pagkatapos ng isang buwan, sisimulan na niya ang kanyang two-year mission para sa The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Gagawin niya raw ito "to serve God and to serve the people."
Sabi pa ni David, "It’s a very difficult, challenging experience.
"It’s not an easy one. It’s not a comfortable lifestyle.
"But that’s how you grow so much from it. It is something that I needed to do."
"I don’t know what’s gonna happen after two years.
"I don’t know if I’m gonna have to start from scratch again.
"But I trust God. I trusted Him so far and He hasn’t let me down.
"I don’t wanna let Him down. Because this decision is for Him.
"He will provide a way when I get back, like He once has," saad ni David.
