Nina Jose says Valiente has improved her acting skills

Niña Jose relates Valiente has made her a better actress, “I learned a lot from Tita [Jaclyn Jose]…she’s like a second mom na rin. Alam mo yun? I learned a lot from my co-actors and Nadine [Samonte], Kuya Oyo [Sotto], JC [de Vera]…everyone in Valiente, I learned a lot. And of course, our director, Direk Joel [Lamangan]. I learned a lot from him.”

Wika nito, “I’m very, very happy and grateful to everyone who’s been supporting Valiente because all these was unexpected and words can’t describe the feeling.”

“We have no scene yet pero I think we’re gonna have a scene soon. It’s very pressuring kasi Ms. Lorna, e,” paliwanag ng dalaga.

Paano naman niya ito pinaghahandaan?

“You really have to put extra effort kasi it’s already hard enough na it’s Direk Joel [Lamangan], it’s already pressure enough na Ms. Jaclyn Jose… Ms. LT pa. You really have to prepare talaga,” ang kanyang sagot.

MOST MEMORABLE SCENE.

Kuwento ni Niña, “The most memorable scene that I’ve done sa Valiente siguro is the scene that I entered in the mental hospital and parang I was talking to my mom, played by Ms. Jaclyn Jose.

“For me, I could, like, feel the pain of my character in all the scenes there when I was in the mental institution. It was very challenging,” pagpapatuloy niya.

PLAYING LEONA.

“Actually, playing her role is very challenging itself. Not just that part, pero…playing Leona, because her character has different sides, e. It has different dimensions.

“She’s not just a bad girl, there’s like, substance in her na you really have to show. She can’t be plain masama, e,” paliwanag pa niya.

“Some parts of her, yes. I can relate to her.

"Like, sometimes, she’s misunderstood. Sometimes, parang, she puts up a strong face, but deep inside, she’s really sad and alone,” pagpapakilala pa ni Niña tungkol sa kanyang role.

“Sometimes, when I’m really down… I don’t like showing it to people kasi baka sabihin, ’Ay, umaarte lang yan kasi artista yan.’

"I’d rather put up a strong face and just keep it inside me,” sabi naman ni Niña tungkol sa kanyang sarili.

IMPROVEMENT IN ACTING.

“Yes, I would say so. This is my favorite, of all the shows I have done. This is my favorite project and I’ve learned a lot.

“I learned a lot from Tita [Jaclyn]…she’s like a second mom na rin. Alam mo yun? I learned a lot from my co-actors and Nadine [Samonte], Kuya Oyo [Sotto], JC…everyone in Valiente. I learned a lot.

“And of course, our director, Direk Joel. I learned a lot from him,” ani Niña.

UPCOMING PROJECTS.

“I think I have two movies this year. I’m part of two movies. So, hopefully, it pushes through,” pag-asam ni Niña.

“One is a horror film with Regal and the other one is with Bossing [Vic Sotto]. Then I have a sitcom pa with TV5.”
