Sagot ni Duterte, “Do you want to fight forever?
“Do you want to elect government after government after government, 20 governments in a row and you want to fight to death?
“Is that what you want? Fighting the revolutionaries is not part of criminal activity. It’s not even a punitive action against them.
“Why? Because it is fueled by an ideology.
“I was a student in 1970 listening to [Joma] Sison.
“I am not 70 years old, I’ve been a mayor, congressman, and everything, and now president, and we are still fighting.
“So, how long do you want to fight?
“I promised you that I would talk to the NPAs.”
Ito ay ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), at Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Saad niya, “People really want no secrets.
“So I would like to assure everybody that in my term, I can only speak for my branch of government, executive, it should have been no secret at all.”
Sagot ni Duterte, “Well, actually part of political strategy.
“Someday I will explain. Kita mo, dinagdagan ko pa.
“It was not even just a casual pagmumura, it was all together in once sentence buga-buga ako.
Why?”
