Ipinaliwanag ni Sharon Cuneta ang hindi niya pagdalo sa proclamation ng kanyang asawa na si Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan bilang nagbabalik na senador.
Kabilang si senator-elect Kiko sa Top 12 senators na iprinoklama ng Commission on Elections sa Plenary Hall ng PICC noong Huwebes, May 19.

Paliwanag ng Megastar, hindi niya maiwanan ang bagong trabaho niya bilang coach sa ikatlong season ng The Voice Kids, na magsisimula nang umere sa May 28.
“It was kind of last minute also when they scheduled it.
“This one has been scheduled nang matagal na.
“Na-pack up pa kami the day before because there were technical problems.
“So, yesterday was such a full day,” sabi ni Sharon nang makausap siya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang reporters sa set ng The Voice Kids kahapon, May 20.
Ayon kay Sharon, sinabihan na rin siya ni Senator Kiko na huwag nang dumalo.
“It was Kiko himself who encouraged me to just go on.
“He said I'll just go when he takes the oath. The family has to be present,” nakangiting sabi ni Sharon.
Pagkatapos ay inilahad ni Megastar ang kanyang kasiyahan sa muling pagkakahalal sa kanyang asawa bilang senador.
“I'm proud of him. He finished at eight from nine.
“We're sad that we didn't get the block vote of a very big church [Iglesia Ni Cristo].
“But my husband still made it at eight, that makes me so proud and it makes my children so happy and proud also, and that what matters to me.”
