Sagot naman niya, “I’m super thankful, super excited. Kasi, ang dami pang mangyayari. Marami pa kaming baon na pasabog.
“I’m so nervous, as in hindi ako nakatulog. Nakakain ako nang sobra kasi sobrang stressed ako.
“But I’m so nervous and scared that people may not like it, but ABS always releases great things and I work with great people.
“Yun lang talaga, initial na kaba.”
LIMITATIONS.
Sabi niya, “They know me so well. So they really respect me, especially now I’m a mom.
“And they know that I love my job. They know that every story that I do, binabasa ko talaga, nagre-research ako.
Kasi, I really love staying even if I’m done na.
“I mean, now not so much because of my son. But even if I’m done na, I’ll stay at magpi-P.A. [personal assistant] ako. I love them talaga.”
FIRST LEAD ROLE.
“Super different!” sambit niya.
"Every show na ginawa ko sa PHR have so many memories, and with each show, siyempre iba-iba ang cast. They became real friends.
"Dito rin, you know, it’s my first time na I’m the oldest in the cast.
“It’s the first time na wala akong ka-age dito, and it’s the first time na I’m playing the lead role.
“Parang mas malaki ang gravity at responsibility. At the same time, yung character ko, she’s so layered.
Dugtong niya, “It came to a point na... kasi ako ang tipo ng taong I’m talking to everyone.
“I’m doing my homework. I’m collaborating with Direk [Cathy Garcia-Molina].”
MORE DARING.
“Daring in the sense that I’m a teacher and I’m falling in love with my student… bawal na pag-ibig.
“I’m stopping myself, and at the same time, taking care of my family. I’m the ate.
“It’s daring in the sense na it’s provocative, taboo… ganyan.
“Parang it’s very daring for me, very emotional.”
LEADING MEN.
“They are both very competitive and hardworking, and I like that.
"Nakita ko ang sarili ko sa kanila, na parang I’m here to work, but because I love what I do, it’s not work.
“Yun ang nakikita ko sa kanila.”
PRIVATE PERSON.
Paliwanag ni Denise, “Little warrior because when I found out I was pregnant, I think I was almost four months already…
“And the reason why I found out was because it was getting delikado. He fought through it and I really rested.
“Imagine niyo, first trimester, wala akong pre-natal care, and even now, he’s so strong as a kid.”
“No, actually, it opened my mind. Not that I’ll gonna show more skin, but of how I’m presenting—mas malalim, mas may depth.
“Mas may mission ako kasi I wanna show people the lesson I’ve learned nga in this story.”
“Oo naman, it’s just that it’s hard travelling back and forth, and I don’t want to leave my son," sabi ni Denise.
“I’m not allowed to talk about him. It’s just that it’s not his personality, and his parents, his grandmother, cousins, they are all private people.
“So, to talk about him and bring him in the picture also affect my son.
“So, parang as much as I want to boast, I’m also thinking of, you know, when I post pictures in Twitter and Instagram, ’pinaglaban ko pa yun because my family doesn’t want me to.
“Because you know, they want him [her son] to decide when he’s older. If he wants to be exposed.
"But I’m just… he’s so cute and he’s so nakakagigil.
“Parang I wanna share him with anyone! I’m so proud!”
“Yes. The deal lang was, I won’t expose him to this. He’s not used to it. It’s not his life," paliwanag ni Denise.
