Kris Aquino on Leni Robredo: "Binigay ko ang lahat for VP Leni."

Binati ni Kris Aquino si Vice President-elect Leni Robredo sa huling bilang ng mga boto sa pagka-Bise Presidente.

Sa kanyang Instagram post kahapon May 27, Biyernes, inamin ni Kris na “personal” para sa kanya ang laban pagdating sa vice presidential race.

“Yes, for me this fight was personal—IT WAS FOR MY MOM's MEMORY. Kaya binigay ko ang lahat for VP Leni—ganun ako pinalaki, nakikipaglaban ng buo ang puso!” bahagi ng Instagram post ng tinaguriang "Queen of All Media."

Ang pinakamahigpit na kalaban ni Leni sa vice-presidential race ay si Sen. Bongbong Marcos, anak ni dating pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, na pinamunuan ang Pilipinas sa loob ng mahigit 20 taon at responsable sa pagpapailalim sa bansa sa Martial Law mula 1972 hanggang 1981.

Ang mga magulang ni Kris—sina Senador Benigno Aquino Jr. at dating pangulong Cory Aquino—ay kilalang mga kalaban ng rehimeng Marcos, at mga naging simbulo sa nangyaring EDSA Revolution nung 1986 na siyang tumapos sa pamamahala ni Marcos sa bansa.

“LENI IS MY IDOL.” Sa nasabing post, ikinuwento rin ni Kris ang pagdududa ng isang kaibigan sa todo-suporta niya kay Leni noong panahon ng eleksyon.

Pero naniwala raw si Kris noon na magwawagi si Leni.

“A friend told me--'Kris, wag mo naman itaya ang lahat, paano kung matalo si Leni?' I smiled in reply & said, 'Marami kaming kakampi sa langit.'

Binati rin ni Kris ang yumaong asawa ni Leni, si former Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo, na dapat sana'y nagdiwang ng ika-58 na kaarawan nito kahapon, May 27.

Pumanaw si Sec. Robredo nung August 18, 2012 nang mag-crash ang eroplanong sinasakyan nito sa dagat malapit sa Masbate Island.

Ikinuwento pa ni Kris na siya mismo ang nag-volunteer para magkaroon ng shoot sa pag-endorso niya kay Leni noong Marso, kung saan nakilala niya ang tatlong anak ni Leni.

Pagpuri pa ni Kris, si Leni ang kanyang idolo bukod sa kanyang inang si Cory.
