Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are in no rush to get married.
The couple—who met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man and who are both set to reprise their roles in the soon-to-be-filmed sequel—are reportedly eager to focus on their careers and are trying to take it slow in their relationship slowly despite being more in-love than ever with each other.
A source close to the 23-year-old actress told USMagazine.com: "There’s no rush to get engaged. They are both young and ambitious."
The Easy A star was spotted enjoying several dates with her 29-year-old British boyfriend of more than a year in Los Angeles recently.
They watched a Cirque du Soleil performance on October 16 and also caught a screening of Paranormal Activity 4 together on October 21.
An insider said: "They just love spending time together. They are absolutely adorable together. They both seem to have their heads on straight . . . They are the most normal couple I have seen."
For a long time the couple refused to confirm their relationship in a bid to maintain some privacy.
Emma previously said: "There’s such a great sense of comfort in knowing that the only thing you have control over is what you say.
"People can say and do all they want. If it never comes out of your own mouth, you still get to keep that semblance of what is sacred to you."
Earlier this year The Help star revealed she once "threw up" and "crawled" on the floor when she was left heartbroken a few years ago.
She said: "I was crawling on the floor. I remember throwing up. I remember being on the floor—I have never felt anything quite like that. It was so visceral. It’s like someone has killed you and you have to live through it and watch it happen. It was awful."
