Fabio Ide on his next TV project: “I just have to wait for the right decision if it’s gonna be GMA or ABS-CBN or TV5—or what’s gonna happen.”

Paniniwala niya, “Once you disappear, you’re gone, people will forget you. Timing—it’s always about timing also.”

Saad niya, “I just came from my vacation in Australia. I stayed there for seventeen days.

“I had an awesome time there. I went to Melbourne and then I travelled to Sydney for surfing.

“I stayed there for like almost three weeks to refresh, energize, and then I’m back to Manila looking forward to work again.

“You know, get good projects, get good work.

"And I wanna start my Tagalog lessons, my acting workshops again, singing lessons.

“Lahat ng mga activity, you know, to maximize my ability.

"So iyon... I’m back,” dagdag pa ni Fabio nang makausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa opisina ng Mercator Artist & Model Management sa Makati.

VACATION IN MELBOURNE.

“We had an awesome time there.

"Australia kasi, it’s been a dream for me to go there, kasi my two sisters used to live there.

“I went surfing almost every day, and meeting lots of people.

“Tapos nga from Melbourne, I went to Sydney."

BACK TO WORK.

“So now, siyempre naman, excited na ako to start working again, you know...

"It’s a new year—happy days, good vibes.

“I just have to maximize everything now—my singing lessons, Tagalog lessons.

“Before, I used to do dalawang beses sa isang linggo, now siguro tatlong beses.

“Para mas magaling ako sa Tagalog, and let’s see what happens.”

BIRTHDAY GIMMICK.

“Yung kaibigan ko and yung parents niya, they brought mo to a nice restaurant to have lunch and dinner.

“Tapos, nung gabi, gimik-gimik.

“Christmas... same. Pero the difference in Australia, they don’t celebrate Christmas on the 24that night...

“After midnight only, on the 25th, during the day.

"So, for me, that was kinda new because 24th, wala talaga... nothing.

"On the 25thtalaga doon. We had lunch with the family.”

Kuwento ni Fabio, “Unfortunately, I was only on a vacation, di ba?

“Masayang-masaya ang buhay doon and, hopefully, gusto kong bumalik doon.

"Pero sobrang mahal!

“Expensive talaga to live, to eat, to take a taxi, to walk around.

“So, kaya ngayon pa lang, I have to work hard to make money again, to save money.

“But you know, it was really worth it talaga kasi it was a dream come true for me.

“And now, after my vacation, I’m really excited and energized again for 2013.”

ASSIGNMENTS.

“Wala pa, I don’t know what’s my next project,” sabi niya about his next project.

“I just got back in town and also we just have to decide about the offers.

“But aside from that, I’ll just keep doing what I was doing before, like my Tagalog lessons and my acting workshop."

May pelikulang ipapalabas this February or early March na kasama si Fabio bilang leading man ni Rufa Mae Quinto, ang Ride To Love.

“Hopefully, February ipapalabas, and then I’m looking forward to another show.

“I just have to wait for the right decision if it’s gonna be GMA or ABS-CBN or TV5—or what’s gonna happen.”

“Pero siyempre naman, you know, beginning of the year, I’m really happy, I’m really excited for the year to be a good year.

“It has been really good to me, for the past three years, di ba?

“Wala akong kontrata sa GMA pero maraming shows.”

HINDRANCE.

I still have to study some more...

“But I dunno, I’ve done a lot for them and I’m sure either they can take me for granted or either they give me good work.

“But I’ve been very loyal to them but I don’t expect anything in exchange.

“But of course, siyempre naman, I need to pay my bills, I need to work.

“So if I have a good offer from another TV station, then why not, di ba?”

EXPOSURE.

“You know, in this business, you have to be there all the time, people should see you on TV all the time.

“Once you disappear, you’re gone, people will forget you.

“Timing—it’s always about timing also.

“But I don’t wanna think like that, na because I’m loyal to them they have to give me work, I don’t believe in that.

“I believe you work good, you do good, they get you for more projects, more opportunities.

“So you don’t really expect anything in return.

“Pero siyempre naman, kung wala akong shows sa GMA, then if I have all the opportunities from other stations, then, of course, I’m going to look for other opportunities.

"Kasi I have to work and pay my bills. So, iyon lang.

“I am very loyal to them, I respect GMA, and I am thankful to all the opportunities that they give me.

"And I am looking forward to keep working for them.

“But siyempre naman, if there are other opportunities that will come my way, and if I think it’s good, and my manager think it’s good, of course I can work naman for others.”

BETTER YEAR.

“All good, happy days.”

Umaasa ba siya ng mas magandang 2013?

“Yeah! Maybe it can be with GMA, maybe it can be with another network. Who knows, di ba?

“So I’m just excited that I’m back in town, very energized.

“I know what has to be done for me to get better in what I’m doing so that’s what I can do for now. So, iyon lang.

“No negative vibes, just hoping for the best.”

May upcoming guesting si Fabio sa Sarah G Live, at first time na mapapanood siya sa isang show sa Kapamilya network.
