Dominic Roco on being "choosy" with girlfriends: “Hindi ako choosy. Ayoko lang manakit ng babae. Ayoko lang magpaiyak ng babae.”

Dominic on the issue between his brother Felix and their good friend JM de Guzman: “A lot of people are saying na kami ang bad influence. I want to prove to people na it’s not our fault. People go through problems. It’s because of their problem. Don’t blame other people for it.”

“Yes, I would say, 2013, I’m very happy with my life. I couldn’t ask for more with what’s happening,” panimulang bungad niya.

Dugtong pa niya, “Everything’s good with Artists Center now. Like I’ve said, a while ago, I saw the progress with what happened. I told them how I felt. I saw the progress after with Artists Center.”

JUST FRIENDS WITH SHEENA.

“Masaya siyang kausap, but, we’re just purely professional,” paglinaw niya.

“She’s fun—masarap siyang kausap, masarap siyang kasama. Yun lang po ang masasabi ko and we’re really friends talaga.”

Yung attraction para kay Sheena, wala ba?

“Wala naman, I just see her as a friend.”

Wala raw siyang girlfriend, dine-date o nililigawan man.

Hindi kaya nagiging choosy na lang siya?

“Hindi ako choosy. Ayoko lang manakit ng babae. Ayoko lang magpa-iyak ng babae,” giit niya.

INDIO.

I just want to work, work, work. That’s it. And I’m really thankful sa Artists Center, they acknowledged what was happening before and they made a lot of changes,” saad niya.

Magiging babaylan daw siya sa Indio.

At ayon kay Dominic, “It’s really fun because yung director namin, si Dondon Santos, he’s really fun directing. And when you have a good director, you can show your best as an actor. I think, whatever you see in Indio, it’s all about our director.”

Naiilang pa ba siyang ka-eksena si Senator Bong Revilla?

“Hindi na, hindi na,” natawa niyang sabi.

“Nakakatawa kasi si Sen. Para siyang bata kapag off-cam.”

NOT YOUR USUAL COMEDY FILM.

“Yes,” natatawang sabi niya.

“Yes and I could say this is not the normal comedy film. We’ve done a lot of things here that a regular movie won’t show. So, we really did a lot of experimenting and we hope that people would accept our kind of comedy.

“Actually, it’s not our kind of comedy but what happens around. So, sana talaga.”

Dugtong pa ni Dominic, “For me, I just want to act. I just want to show people this is what I love doing. I get to do what I love with the people I know and I love to. So, it’s like working with family. It really makes my job a lot easier.”

NO CONFLICT WITH NEIL.

Frank Magalona. Hindi sila parang puwede. Then, there’s this one workshop with Artists Center na nandoon si Bela [Padilla] at nandoon din si Neil.

“Nakita nila ’ko and they offered this to me and I said yes, sige,” pagbalik-tanaw niya.

“No, why wouldn’t there be conflict, I have nothing against them before.”

Magkaibigan na sila ni Neil ngayon?

“Yeah, I think,” nakangiti niyang sabi.

ISSUE WITH FELIX AND JM.

Ang masasabi ko po ro’n, my brother and I are always here for JM.

I know in my heart, I’m doing the best I can just to be with JM.

“As friends, lahat ng problema niya, sinasabi niya sa amin.

“Of course, people will say, kami ang bad influence, ‘di ba? Okay lang, tanggap ko yun. Pero, alam ni JM yun na we’re just helping him. Okay, sige, sabihin ng mga tao my brother’s doing drugs, we’re not.

“And I can’t force the people to think something else, ‘di ba? I just want to protect my brother kasi, wala naman siyang masamang ginagawa.

I just want to protect my brother.

“And I want to protect my friend JM din,” giit niya.

Ayon kay Dom, “A lot of people are saying na kami ang bad influence. I haven’t seen JM na for like three months na rin. Si Felix, he rarely sees him na rin dahil lang doon.

“I want to prove to people na it’s not our fault. People go through problems. It’s because of their problem. Don’t blame other people for it,” banggit ng binata.

Aniya, “Yes, everyone goes through problems, e. And I’m sure, may pinagdadaanan lang din si JM and everyone goes through with that.”

AIFFA 2013.

And then, yung service namin sa gala night were all luxury cars... Lamborghini. So, doon, everything was a first for me.

“It’s very unforgettable and my trip to Malaysia made me love my job more. Kasi, I want to show the world that the Philippines has a lot to offer when it comes to our film industry,” pagtatapos niya.
