Two months after announcing their engagement, Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes tie the knot at the The Bellevue Manila in Alabang, Muntinlupa, today, June 9.
The couple chose to have a "secret" wedding, and picked a venue that has a tight security. As early as 11:00 a.m., a few paparazzis made an attempt to enter the area, but the guards said, "Dapat nasa listahan po."
Some guests, according to a source of PEP.ph (Philippine Emtertainment Portal), were invited last Friday, June 7, two days before the wedding date.
In a previous interview, Richard said Maricar is a "very private person."
"I like her because she's very simple. 'Di siya 'bilhan mo 'ko noon, bilhan mo ako niyan.'
"She's a very private person.
"Simpleng joy lang, [sasabihin niya] 'Gusto ko makasama ka, usap tayo nang maayos.'
"[Gusto lang niya] maganda 'yung conversation.
The couple started dating in 2010.
Meanwhile, the PEP source said she spotted Charo Santos, Johnny Manahan, Cory Vidanes, Linggit Tan, and other big bosses of ABS-CBN, plus, Nikki Gil, Billy Crawford, Christian Bautista, Yeng Constantino, to name a few, at the venue.
